Race 7 Baytown, TX.
Well this was the last regional race and wow... here we go with the story.
We made it through the races with only a shoulder injury to JetHogg. In his first moto the first 4 boats broke free from the pack and when they cut to hit the first bouy JetHogg flew over the back of Rick Elizando's boat and went nose first into the lake. more on that in Entrails. Well JoKeR did just fine pulled in a 3rd place finish and this was enough to get him the 1st Place Overall Trophy this year for 785 Stock. Clap Clap Just Aint Right got the coveted Red Plate with White #1 for racing next year. An awesome reward for a hard years work of racing. Raging Rachel finished 2nd overall for the year with a 2nd place finish. She had a very good season for her first time. JetBoss had a decent showing too coming in 5th overall.

Race 6 July 16th...Mt. Pleasant, Tx
Once again we are getting ready for an awesome weekend of racing.  Of course it is late on Friday...skis are still in the shop and trailer still  not packed...LOL. JoKeR reached a new high for the race team when he received this email from the Race Director...here's an excerpt ..."This is by far the latest I have ever received a registration form, and your lucky I decided to check my email one last time...."  Oh well...Thats tha JoKeR for ya!  But we can finally announce the addition of the much anticipated 2000 Race pics (Featured above).   When JetHogg was asked if he had any others scanned...well just check the 2000 race pic page to see what the answer was. Pretty good weekend for Team OutKast.  Brought home one First Place and Three Second Place trophies.  Brought home just as many new nick names with Matt "Leave Me" Malone, and Rachel "I'm all alone" Malone (cause she was smokin up the course in first)  Well this is the week of sic workouts to get ready for Baytown...JoKeR and JetHogg are already on the morning ritual of Running and SlipKnot for breakfast.  Baytown is next...Last race before World Finals...Alot of Nationals Invitations are up in the air for anyone to grab!!

Race 5 July1-2...Alexandria, LA
Well we made it to Louisiana and came out pretty good. We all grabbed rooms at the Holiday Inn Convention Center.Wow did we rock that place... The whole back row of rooms were jetski racers and the party was pretty loud.Joker showed up about 4 am so he missed the friday nite party oh well... We learned the new rule of scary bar..Never tell the women your about to play scary bar. They shut us down quickly... To many women on the trip... So we decided to play scary salad bar instead. This consisted of eating only the stuff you don't recognize at the salad bar... Yuckall the slimy stuff is pretty scary I don't know who they prepared that stuff for but it aint racers...No thrill like scary bar though but it did in a pinch. :[ This place is so cool they had a fireworks display that was shot right off the other side of the lake and the racers had great lakeside seats. They always treat us right there.

Race 4 June 17th Fathers Day Weekend...Galveston, Tx
Jethogg racing right after a downpour edged out the Hooters team for 5th place. Which he keep going on an on about. Probably thinking about getting Hooter Sponsorship. JetBoss gets capsized out in the surf but still places 7th. Raging Rachel pulls a first place. The only trophy brought home by the team this race. Congratulations Rachel. Jetboss had his cell phone stolen out of the truck and it just goes to show you.. LOCK YOUR VEHICLE AT ALL TIMES.. The early morning motos got off to a great start and the nerves kicked in pretty good watching those waves coming in one by one larger all the time. JetHogg was practicing sprints along side the coast which is where you get the most speed and as soon as he let off the gas after a very nice sprint the boat got swamped by an incoming wave which sent him over the front of the boat resulting in another pair of lost goggles bringing the new total to goggles 3 JetHogg 0 we nominate JetHogg as the official buyer of goggles and at 30 a pair he aint to happy. Just Aint Right was talking with another team when he layed his helmet and gloves down for a chat turned his back on it and it disappeared. NEVER EVER NEVER SET YOUR HELMET DOWN AND TURN AWAY. people=shi* robbery was the name of the game this weekend. Anyway we were all sittin in the suburban waiting for the rain to let up so we could get back to racing, when this dude in a pickup goes screaming by YEAHOO and hits the open beach and starts doing doughnuts ... He gets about 4 in when the first police car shows up and shortly after hes got 3 surrounding him. The only thing he could have been thinking at that time was " How Did We Get To This Point " Well we sat in the truck and watched as they cuffed him and loaded his truck up... DAY DONE.. Oh well.. guess we arent going to be doing that now. I could see JetBoss chompin at the bits to show him up. That urge went away quickly.

Race 3 May 28th Memorial Day Weekend...Baytown, Tx
Well we spent Saturday morning putting stickers on the new Polaris 1200. What a beautiful machine This ski looks like a motocross bike. Black and Red and very fast. We took it out to Baytown Saturday afternoon to test drive it and hit the course for a little while. If you get out there the night before the race you can usually get in a couple of laps and play tag with some of the other racers too. We highly recommend going to the race site the night before if possible. We did have some problems with the sponsons for the 1200 because what we got was 2 right side sponsons but the mounting brackets were right so we threw them on anyway. Jetboss got T boned by another rider and the brand new 2000 Polaris 1200 got some charactor. Well we thought his leg was broke and probably should have been seeing how the ski rode up and over the Polaris... Well we were laughing of course telling Jetboss to walk it off itll be fine dont be a big girl But to no avail the racing was over for the day for Jetboss.. :[ But we raced on... Pulling in a 1st 2nd and a 3rd.. After the races we did drop off Jetboss at the emergency room but no one could stay with him since we had a few to many... No since in getting in trouble. However no xray was taken cause he wound up walking out and calling us from Best Buy. Who knows how he got there.. Another race for outkasts turns ugly... See ya after next race on the surf. This one is gonna be crazy im sure.

Race 2 May 14th Mothers Day...Lewisville, Tx
Well enough said, we all forgot to call momma. Oh My God where to begin with this day. JetHogg continues to get his ass kicked by stupid mistakes. See the picture above ^ everyone taking off the line at the same time... Not JetHogg... His holders continue to hold his ski high into the air as the racers rumble down the straight away headed to the first bouy. As JetHogg screams to put his jet in the water its too late. More on this story in Hogg EntrailsEvery morning before the race we sit and think... Well today is going to be a calm day and what in the hell will we come up with for our site. But to no avail something always seems to happen to OutKast Racing. Since the start is the most important thing in racing jetskis we decided what the hell lets make this the most important screw up at todays races... Race 1 April 30th Lewisville
Well, it pretty much started out the same as last year. When the first injury comes well before the race even begins. This time it was Montana, Hoggs son #1, that falls through the ski trailer as he was swinging between the two ski's. Resulting in a chipped front bottom tooth and scratches on his neck. Beautiful. Jeanna did not think it too funny when I brought him to her in the house mouth bleeding, screaming and dirty. I figured I couldn't help out to much so I layed him on the floor and asked her to fix him. Jeanna was not to happy with me as I was walking back outside. JetHoggs injury was a bit troublesome too... We installed a new Butch Racing and UMI steering system on the Ultra and decided not to glue the grips on.. BIG STUPID MISTAKE JetHogg was cutting a bouy on lap 3 with 2 racers on his ass when the grip gave way sending the handle into the straight position and impeling into the sternam of JetHogg which sent him sailing into the water with the breath knocked out of him. Stuggling to keep a hand up so the other racers knew where he landed his helmet was under water with his noggen still in it... This makes breathing a bit difficult when you are under water. Panic can soon set in since this was nearing the end of the race the body is weak. With the handle bar grip still in his hand he does make it back onto the ski and does survive. cc More on this story from the Hogg himself in his diary... Hogg Entrails Joker Speaks about his day... This year I switched classes from 1200 to 785...yes to answer your question I finally gave up on the Ultra 150. After getting some new sponsors this year I am riding a well tuned Polaris Pro 785...this little bitch hooks up. My race did not come until late in the day, so when my race card was pulled I was more than ready to step up to the starting line. "Stupid Mistakes" ~ Had to be the lesson of the day...
